Being a far from perfect leader myself, I hate to complain; but I just had to vent about that one! It's hard to sit back and watch the wanton suffering brought about by such avoidable causes. Anyone else feeling me?

I feel you. I always say, If you know what to do, and you dont do it, you are no better than one who doesnt know what to do.
That can be said of some of our Leaders titled ministers. I would just say, 'wametuzoea sisi'. We spend fortunes funding their lifestyles, their security, but they still use the same gratitude we have shown to them to insult us.
What would you say of a minister who after such an accident, he says nothing!

and sadly, I don't think we have too many of these kind of leaders, especially in the limelight.. and when we do, we vote them out!
but perhaps, we too should strive to be that kind of leader, because no matter where we are in life, we are all leaders to others.
Thanks guys, these are good thoughts. And Joyce, I absolutely agree... we need to ensure we're not just activists; but that we're faithful with whatever leadership responsibilities God has entrusted us with!
